We purchased this beautiful piece of Kentucky hillside in January 2016. Our property vaguely resembles an hourglass, and as a family of 5, we are always racing against the clock, so the name stuck! We are into our 8th year with Myotonic Goats and loving every minute!

Most people know them by the term "Fainting" Goat. While they do not actually faint, they do have a genetic condition that causes them to stiffen up and often fall over for a brief period of time. More information can be found at www.myotonicgoatregistry.net.

We have been working on creating a small herd of quality animals to help boost this amazing breed. They are funny to watch and have personalities to match! Fainters generally make excellent moms and can breed and kid year-round! Their heavy muscling makes climbing and jumping difficult, so they are easy on fences. That muscling also makes them an excellent meat goat! Quality Myotonics have the best meat to bone ratio and a Myo buck can add substance to your Boer, Kiko, Savannah or commercial herd.
